Michael and his team seek to build exceptional custom homes that meet the top-quality construction and efficiency standards of the trade. They create so much more than houses - they offer an enjoyable experience that culminates in a home ready to be filled with a lifetime of memories!

Michael's team has won numerous awards for their custom projects including Grand Champion of the Tour of Homes and “Best Builder” in the Opelika-Auburn News’ Reader’s Choice Awards for 10 consecutive years

We welcome you to listen as Michael shares his passion for building homes.

Michael’s passion for building custom homes

Michael believes that building homes is an avenue to display what he was created to do. Our preference is to build homes to live in, rather than houses to show. We want each home to uniquely meet each client’s needs, to accommodate their lifestyle, and to create memories with those who matter most.

Core values

PERSONALIZED TOUCH

Most people enter into the building process with some level of anxiety and apprehension. It is a time of excitement but also caution. Your mind may imagine all kinds of “what if” scenarios. We use our personalized touch and professional experience to make sure you are comfortable in every step of the process. Our goal is to ensure that you enjoy building your new home.

CUSTOM Design

Every builder aims to design homes based on their clients’ tastes and desires; undoubtedly, the builder’s style will show through to some degree. Our preference is to build homes rather than houses. Houses are built to show; homes are built to live. We want each home to uniquely meet the client’s needs, to accommodate their lifestyle, and to create memories with those who matter most.

Professional Integrity

When you allow us to build your home, we make every decision with your best interest at heart – especially when no one is watching. Whether it be the process by which your home is built, the individuals working to build the home, the materials being used, or the money being spent – every decision is made with you in mind. We work to earn the trust of our clients.

Building Community

We at Michael Allen Homes do our best to improve and invest in the local community. Only then can we truly help our neighbors. Our work is focused where we live – the Auburn/Opelika area(s) of Alabama and Lake Martin.
